I started my own journey by completing an Access to HE Diploma, just like the one I now help students complete. I went on to study Diagnostic Radiography at St George’s Medical School, and worked in both the NHS and private sector, as well as overseas in Qatar.
After qualifying, I developed a passion for teaching. I completed a Postgraduate Teaching Qualification at the University of East London, taught at Sir George Monoux College, and now teach on the Diagnostic Radiography programme at London South Bank University.
When I’m not teaching, I’m a massive football fan, I support Manchester United (yes, it’s been emotional the past few seasons), and I enjoy staying active at the gym.
Originally from Somalia, East Africa, I come from a family where education, service, and community are everything. I’m passionate about helping others break barriers, find clarity, and step into careers that truly change lives.
